New old stock, Boeing by Carrera 5731 vintage sunglasses in colour 91. Manufactured in Austria in, the Boeing by Carrera partnership started in 1986, only small quantities of these frames were produced, making them highly sought after. This particular frame was manufactured in 1989. The Boeing collaboration targeted pilots and the highly fashionable. This stunning aviator frame is a mix of gold and silver metal, with a fabulous matte finish bridge. The lenses feature a grey graduated tint and have 100% UVA and UVB protection. These are not the original lenses, and therefore do not feature the Carrera signature. The temporal sides feature the Boeing Carrera branding. Red dampner devices can be seen on the temporal hinge, acting as a shock absorber. The 3c nosepads rotate 70 degrees giving a customised fit for the wearer.
